About: Nationally known Suicide Prevention Speaker Frank King was a writer for The Tonight Show for 20 years, a Corporate Comedian, former talk radio talk show host, and was featured on CNN’s Business Unusual. Depression and suicide run his family. He’s thought about killing himself more times than he can count, fighting a lifetime battle with depression and chronic suicidality. He's turned his long dark journey of the soul into 3 TEDx Talks, and shares his lifesaving insights with corporation, association and college audiences. A comedian talking about mental illness and suicide? He believes that it's a comedian's job to speak painful truth to power, on behalf of the powerless. He speaks truth to the power of mental illness, on behalf of those often powerless in it's grip. He speaks to end the stigma, save lives. About: ERGO is a non-profit research group studying the subtleties and complexities of euthanasia (help with a good death) so it can be carefully carried out as and when the law permits. Journalist and author Humphry has campaigned since l978 for a dying person's right to medical assisted suicide, also self-deliverance if no lawful means is available to a terminally ill adult who is of sound mind. He became involved in the right-to-die issue when he published 'Jean's Way' -- an account of helping his dying first wife to bring her life to a peaceful end. Derek Humphry (president), who founded the original Hemlock Society in l980, also authored the bestseller how-to suicide guide, Final Exit, which sells in 12 languages. In 2017 Humphry published his life story 'Good Life, Good Death: The Memoir of a Right to Die Pioneer' (Carrel Books, NY)

About: In 1979 Vonda Pelto, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist and author of Without Remorse: The Story of the Woman Who Kept Los Angeles' Serial Killers Alive, was brought in to Los Angeles Men's Central Jail following the jailhouse suicide of Freeway Killer Vernon Butts with the task of keeping a collection of vicious, sociopathic sexual predators engaged socially and alive while awaiting trial. For over three years she existed with men like Ken Bianchi and William Bonin during an assignment that changed her life, personality and future. Her book is sure to make a compelling movie.

About: The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence is a national, non-profit, education, legal advocacy, and research organization working to reduce gun deaths and injuries. The Center, in conjunction with its lobbyingl affiliate, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, has a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach to stemming America's gun violence epidemic. The Center was created in 1983 to educate the American public about the scope of gun violence and to develop solutions to the problem. Sarah Brady, wife of James Brady, former White House press secretary, is chair of the Center. Jim Brady is on the Center's Board of Trustees.
