Scholarships for the 2020 San Francisco Writers Conference
From:
San Francisco Writers Conference San Francisco Writers Conference
For Immediate Release:
Dateline: San Francisco, CA

When you simply HAVE to go to the SFWC!

If the cost of the conference is keeping you from attending the 2020 San Francisco Writers Conference this February, do something about it immediately.

This year we are offering seven scholarships…and each of them will award a registration to the conference. All you have to do is follow the rules and submit your best writing. If your entry is judged the best for one of the scholarships, you earned your registration.

CLICK HERE to see the list of available scholarships. Some ask you to incorporate a theme into your entry. Others simply want you to describe your writing project. We want talented writers to be part of the event. The scholarship entries show us who will most benefit from attending.

It’s no wonder writers want to be there. The San Francisco Writers Conference gives a writer invaluable insider access to the publishing industry. It is one of the largest gatherings of literary agents, editors, publishers and bestselling authors anywhere. This year the keynoters include the incomparable Walter Mosley, Brooke Warner, and Jonathan Mayberry.

Even better, these scholarships work. How? Winners come into the event already on our radar. For instance, Karly Caserza won the Dr. T Scholarship a few years back. Now she is an agent with Fuse Literary! And the 2019 winner of the Director’s Scholarship secured an agent before he even left the conference!

Deadlines for these 2020 SFWC scholarships are looming. There is no fee to submit. It is all done online.
