Organizers expect large turnout for inaugural event combining overview of social media and business networking.

Toledo, OH, March 27, 2009?If advance registration is any indication of interest, the planning committee for the upcoming Social Media Breakfast Toledo may want to set out a few extra chairs. Local response is strong for the breakfast meeting, which will combine an overview of web 2.0 social media with an opportunity for business networking. ?Every day, businesses and organizations start to realize the benefits of social media,? said marketing/PR strategist, Allen Mireles. ?Getting involved with social media, especially on a business level, can seem overwhelming at first,? she stated. ?The Social Media Breakfast Toledo will provide area businesses with an introduction to social media as well as a chance to ask any questions they may have.?

Scheduled for Friday, April 3rd from 7:30-9:30 AM, the Social Media Breakfast Toledo will provide an opportunity to come together to eat, meet, share and learn the basics. Moderated by Michael Temple, of Temple Development Company, the event will be broadcast live via http://Ustream.tv Questions about social media will be answered by a panelists Damian Rintelmann, of Hart Inc., Allen Mireles of Allen Mireles Marketing/PR, Dave Rigotti, of Freezing Hot, and Victoria Kamm, of BizTube 24/7. The Social Media Breakfast Toledo will be held at the Elk?s Lodge Toledo 53 on 3520 Holland-Sylvania Road. Tickets are $10 and advance registration is required due to limited seating.
