The orientation sessions allow you or employees to show the new hire the way around the office to gain familiarity. 

These orientation sessions can include company history and notable milestones, wellness tips, and strategies for navigating the office. And while you don’t need to go into great detail about every policy and procedure, it’s helpful to give new hires a general idea of where they may locate what they will need or enjoy. For example, you might want to provide information about how the coffee machine works or where to find supplies or other resources.

Assign A Buddy For Your New Hires

Part of making the onboarding process less stressful for new employees is making sure they feel welcome and like they have a support system. To do this, you can assign a buddy to your new hires. Buddies can help new hires navigate any challenges they may be facing.
