New reference letter templates have been added to two websites in the FreePrintable.net family sites. They run the gamut from personal and legal situations to traditional job-hunting letters.
"If you need someone to vouch for you, a recommendation letter is the way to go," said Kevin Savetz, the sites' creator. "My sites CharacterReferenceLetters.com and LettersOfRecommendation.net have hundreds of letter templates you can download, customize and print for free."
The main focus of LettersOfRecommendation.net is professional and academic matters. At CharacterReferenceLetters.com, the letter templates address issues range from employment to legal matters such as adoption or court proceedings. I've added new letters and testimonials to each site, along with articles with tips on writing or customizing a letter to suit a particular situation.
The sample letters at CharacterReferenceLetters.com provide a helpful starting point when one has been asked to vouch for someone. The newest letter templates include messages from an employer, from a family member, and from someone attesting to "good moral character." There are letters for recommending a couples counselor, a dating site or a midwife. A general fill-in-the-blanks reference letter has been added as well.
The new character reference letters for legal matters cover criminal offenses, an appeal to restore a driver's license, divorces, sobriety and more.
Articles just added to CharacterReferenceLetters.com address character reference etiquette, opening and closing statements and what not to include in a cover letter.
At LettersOfRecommendation.net, the letters cover immigration, domestic help, school admissions, adoption, housing and employment. The selection of letters relating to career and academic pursuits is huge.
The new employment reference letters include recommendations for high school job, for a teacher, and a letter from a client. There are school recommendation letters from a dean, from a doctor and for an intern.
The site also has new commendation and nomination letters, including for: board member, boss of the year, employee of the month, community service, customer service and valedictorian. Other letters are related to housing tenancy, a karate teacher, a recruiter and a bank.
The newest articles at LettersOfRecommendation.net cover how to write a nomination, keywords and whom to ask for an academic recommendation.
Everything at both sites is free to use in one's personal and business dealings. The letter templates can be downloaded in DOC (Microsoft Word) format, or the text can be cut and pasted directly from the site.
"The letters sites are sister sites to my resume template and cover letters sites InstantResumeTemplates.com and CoverLetterExamples.net," Savetz said.
There are 100 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
