Community Friday:  Inspiration for All Week Long

Valeri Bocage
CEO Powerful Women International Connections

Valeri’s Story

We are still on the journey of making new changes in our lives this year. More than ever, I am hearing people sharing about the actions they are taking in their personal and professional lives. It is amazing that so many people are working on new goals and taking their lives to the next level in spite of all the things going on in our world today. Congratulations s to all of you for doing so!

As always, make certain that you contribute or assist others in at-risk and underprivileged communities all the way. Provide assistance for a cause or project that calls to your heart and give your time and talents. It will make your project so much easier, and somehow things will happen faster when you are giving of your heart to make a difference in someone else’s life.

We at Powerful Women International Connections (PWIC) are supporting our members by creating new support structures that will guide them in fulfilling each phase of their project.

Examples of some PWIC member projects

PWIC member Justina Page works with burn survivors and their families.

Justina’s goal is to build a facility that will assist burn survivors and their families. The first one will serve as a model in Houston for others to follow in multiple cities. Her desire is to help those who survived the destructive fire, and assist their families too.

One member is planning out her television show that will showcase humanitarian projects and the work in progress today, in our world.

We have another member who is helping underprivileged families start their businesses with the help of honey bees. They will process, package and make candles using the honey to sell to other establishments.

Two other members have teamed up to build a community center for the underprivileged residents of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Your Story and Vision

What is your vision to achieve by the end of 2017? Look at one thing that will have you dancing with joy as you complete it by the end of this year!

Sometimes our projects involve many more pieces and elements of education than we initially recognize. Should this come to light for your project, think about the component that will have us seeing you embrace joy by the end of the year.

We would love to hear from you about your project, current vision, and future plan. When you are ready we also welcome having a conversation about how we may assist your effort. We look forward to listening to your ideas, brainstorming with you, and cheering you on along your path to great success!
