FaxZero.com, the convenient, free internet fax solution, has surpassed 20 million faxes sent.
"This is a huge milestone for FaxZero," said Kevin Savetz, a longtime expert on online faxing. "I've been faxing via the internet since the mid-1990s and this method of communication remains extremely popular."
Savetz launched FaxZero in 2006 with the goal of making it fast, secure and easy for individuals and businesses to send faxes online. The service lets users send five free three-page faxes a day anywhere in the U.S. or Canada. More or longer faxes can be sent for $1.99 each (up to 25 pages with no daily limit). An international fax service is also available to more than 180 nations, with affordable rates based on the country faxed.
One of the most popular features of FaxZero is the ability to fax Congress or fax the Senate. "Just click to find your local representative and type in or upload a message," Savetz explained. "Faxing is a great way for constituents to make their voices heard, especially when phone and email messages aren't always closely monitored."
In 2018, FaxZero logged 1,896,564 faxes sent, almost as many as in 2017, when 2,097,181 were sent in the year Savetz dubbed "the year of protest faxing" due to so many messages being sent to legislators in the House and Senate.
FaxZero displays a list of "most-faxed" representatives each day, week or month, and the site also has a fax-your-reps guide with tips on how to craft an impactful message.
FaxZero accepts documents in DOC (Microsoft Word) DOCx, PDF and other common file formats. Senders can use a computer or smartphone to upload their faxes.
"Next month, I'll release the annual list of FaxZero's most-faxed destinations," Savetz said. "While message content is always kept private, it's interesting to see which business, agencies and elected officials are receiving the most faxes."
FaxZero has been featured in publications such as U.S. News and World Report, The Huffington Post, All You magazine and PC Magazine. FaxZero.com is part of Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
