"We're thrilled to have Sharon Terry, a former college chaplain who, since facing the life-altering news of her own children's rare genetic condition, has been at the forefront to improve health outcomes for people suffering from genetic diseases," says Kelley Connors, Founder, Real Women on Health! "We're looking forward to talking about her journey from devastated parent to her recent recognition as a one of the world's leading social entrepreneurs by Ashoka, an internationally recognized organization that champions the world's most important social change ideas and innovations," she added.
Sharon's joined by women's empowerment advocate, Barbara Grufferman, author of the acclaimed The Best of Everything After 50: The Experts' Guide to Style, Sex, Health. Money and More. Recently featured on "The Today Show" and in Huffington Post, The Best of Everything…. is the essential handbook to being a healthy and strong woman "of a certain age." It combines practical women-to-women advice from Barbara, a self-described "very inquisitive woman over 50," and professional expertise from leading authorities in women's health, nutrition, exercise, makeup, hair, fashion, finance, organization and sex.
"With experts ranging from Diane von Furstenberg on style to Esther Perel on sex to Jane Bryant Quinn on money, this book is one-stop shopping for those of us looking to feel and be our best" says Cassie Holm. "And we'll be giving away inscribed copies of Barbara's book, so don't miss out!"
