Kelley Connors MPH
Kelley Connors is an on-line radio show host, blogger, and founder of Real Women on Health!, the voice for women of all lifestages. She sparks dialogue with women, creating conversations that are empowering and informative and inspires them to take action for better health. She aims to use her wellness coaching background, as well as marketing and communications skills to help marketers create impact, influence and trust with women and improved outcomes in women's health. Recently, her focus is on helping women Design the Second Half of Your Life. Her pioneering work in on-line community health education for women has been recognized and awarded by the Connecticut Technology Council in 2010. Recently, she earned a significant medical education grant on smoking prevention, and spearheaded the creative direction and copywriting for Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. The result is an award-winning smoking prevention site for young girls, found at www.nosmokingroom.org. A published author in healthcare and pharmaceutical industry magazines, she has been featured in DTC Perspectives (pharmaceutical industry), The Ireland Report (hospital industry), and is a sought after speaker in the area of marketing health to women, and on-line community building for women's health brands. She has held webcasts or live events with the 2008 Advertising Research Foundation, 2007 Marketing to the New Healthcare Consumer Conference, and 2009 Spirit of Women Annual Meeting. Her most recent presentation was featured at the 2009 Public Relations Society of America Health Academy Annual Meeting. Ms. Connors received a Masters in Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health with a Certificate in Public Communication from BU's School of Public Communication and has worked with a wide variety of health care companies, non-profit organizations and communications agencies including: Eli Lilly, Bausch & Lomb, Pharmacia, Serono, Boehringer Ingelheim, the Ms. Foundation for Women, Medialink, the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, AIM at Melanoma, and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center/Pfize
