A dozen themed free printable
recipe cards have been added to the popular Web site, FreePrintableRecipeCards.net.
The new recipe cards bring the total of cards on the site to more than 120.
The additions include ethnic-themed recipe cards (for Asian, French, Indian, Italian and Mexican foods) and four cookie-themed recipe cards. A new category on FreePrintableRecipeCards.net is
religious recipe cards with Christian messages such as "Give us this day our daily bread."
"These new recipe cards are a response to repeated requests from site visitors," said Kevin Savetz, creator of FreePrintableRecipeCards.net. "I'm grateful to site users, who let me know of their desire for
ethnic food recipe cards and Christian-themed cards as well as recipe cards for cookies. I guess people are doing a lot of 'cookie exchanges,' especially during the holidays."
The cards are free to print in PDF form, which the user can instantly print out and write upon in pen or pencil. Or, users may opt for a $7-per-design DOC version that can be edited in Microsoft Word. The premium, editable version can be saved on a computer and keyboarded onto again and again, with no limit on how many times the design can be used.
The cards can be printed on paper or, for durability, cardstock. The 4x6 version is sized to fit Avery postcards or use as-is. There is also a 3x5 version as well as lined and unlined versions of blank cards.
"There are also monogram recipe cards, holiday recipe cards, cards for 'Grandma's' and 'Mom's' kitchen and much more," Savetz said. "The site has been growing since I launched it in 2006."
There are nearly 50 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of
