About: The Frankenmuth Brewery, founded in 1862, is one of the oldest breweries in the country. In 1996 a tornado destroyed the Frankenmuth Brewery. It re-opened to the public under new owners July 1, 2009. Soon after the Frankenmuth Brewing Co. began distributing keg beer throughout Michigan.
