Won a The Knot or WeddingWire Award? Here’s How to Make It Work for You

Earning the award is step one. Most vendors stop there. They upload the badge to their website footer and move on. The vendors who consistently convert inquiries into bookings treat the recognition differently.

Start with placement. Your badge belongs on your homepage above the fold, on every service page, and in your email signature. If you send proposals, it goes there too. Anywhere a prospective couple is evaluating whether to trust you is a place where the award should be visible.

Then think about how you’re framing it in copy. “Award-winning” is table stakes at this point. Every vendor with a badge says it. What moves couples is specificity. “Nine-time Best of Weddings winner” lands differently than a generic claim. “The Knot Hall of Fame inductee” signals something a first-year winner can’t. Use the exact credential, not a softened version of it.
