In Thursday?s Webinar, sponsored by
Meridian Knowledge Solutions, we?ll look at what associations are doing with social technologies for learning. Sign up at
https://www3.gotomeeting.com/register/723256278 for the Webinar and to get access to the companion white paper, ?Social Learning Trends in the Association Space,? which we won?t release publicly until the end of this month.
The Webinar and white paper draw on data collected in an online survey conducted this spring and include mini case studies of how some associations are integrating LinkedIn, HDFaces, Twitter, Facebook, and other social technologies into their learning products and services.
In post a couple of weeks ago, Jeff laid out
five reasons why social learning matters for associations. And most associations see the importance?54.9 percent of respondents to our survey say their organization currently uses a social technology as part of at least one of the learning products and services it provides. Another 25.5 percent have plans to start using social technologies for learning in the next year.
Join us Thursday for a discussion of other key data points from the survey and examples of technology-based social learning at associations like the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), America?s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), the Colorado Association of School Executives (CASE), and the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP).
