My wife returned from LA yesterday having spent a week there with our newly-born fourth grandchild (and first grandson). I could track her travels to the LA airport using Find Phone, and then tracked her fligh’s departure and progress across the country on my flight tracking app. Then I tracked her limo ride home from Boston, and the dogs and I were outside and watched her car as it turned into our property.
If I can do that, imagine what people who really want to track you can do. We’re in an age of decreasing privacy and the threat that what we say and write can be instantly recorded (which many politicians and celebrities standing in front of mics they think are not turned on don’t seem to realize when they say highly prejudicial things). And that’s not even to mention the ability of AI to put your image where it doesn’t belong and someone else’s words in your mouth.
Maybe the next big thing is going to be anti-drone software that either jams their cameras and microphones or, perhaps, shoots them down!
