TALKERS continues to post videos of sessions recorded at the TALKERS 2026: Radio’s Next Chapter conference recently held at Hofstra University (6/5). More than 65 speakers participated in the day’s events. Today’s entry is a one-on-one discussion titled, “The State of Sports Talk Radio.” The special guest interviewee is WFAN, New York brand manager, Ryan Hurley. WPG, Atlantic City morning host Harry Hurley (no relation) is the facilitator. Together they provide insights into a number of sports talk radio issues including the impact of betting on the culture of the genre and the nature of the format’s listener/demo profile.
