Sensational Sustenance, LLC, a nutrition consulting company founded by Annette Hottenstein MS, RD, has opened a counseling office in Hereford, MD. The office is the company's first location dedicated to providing personalized services for local residents. "Registered Dietitians (RDs), are food and nutrition experts, translating the science of nutrition into practical solutions for healthy living", states Ms. Hottenstein.
Services offered include nutrition intervention for chronic disease (such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure & diabetes), weight loss, and assistance with food allergies and intolerances. Ms. Hottenstein has been a dietitian since 1997 and has most recently been providing corporate wellness services for local businesses, including McCormick & Company. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from The Pennsylvania State University and her Masters and clinical training from Texas A&M University completing rotations at Scott and White Memorial Hospital and the Olin E. Teague Veterans Medical Center.
The office is located at 17101 York Road, Parkton, MD 21120. Hours are 9am-3pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Evening hours are available from 6pm-9pm on Tuesday and Thursday.
