Lew Bayer is internationally renowned for her expertise on civility inside and outside the workplace with a focus on social intelligence and culturally-competent communication honed over 14 years. As president of Civility Experts Worldwide, Lew spearheaded the company's expansion in 2007 to include the Center for Organizational Cultural Competence. Lew is also Executive Director of the International Civility Trainers' Consortium, a proud Mentor for The Etiquette House, and a member of the Advisory Board for A Civil Tongue.
An eight-time published author and national columnist, Lew's most recent literary contribution; The Power of Civility was released in May 2011. Host Yasmin Anderson-Smith is also a contributing author of this book and has partnered with Lew on international civility training programs. Lew is a faculty member at Georgetown University Center for Cultural Competence, the Canadian Management Center in Toronto, a guest facilitator for the American Management Center in New York and an alumni spokesperson for McGill University.
Lew is a recipient of the Manitoba Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award for International Business. In May 2010, Lew was the first Canadian to receive the prestigious International Civility Star Award from the Association of Image Consultants International.
