*Why Michael Cohen's 36 Month Sentence Is a Hoax

213-219-9033 or LarryLevine@PacificTelephone.net

Michael Cohen Esq., Donald Trump's former lawyer and personal fixer was just handed a 36 month federal prison sentence for 9 crimes essentially consisting of "Money Laundering and Lying to Congress" by U.S. District Judge William Pauley inside a packed New York Federal Courtroom.

While to some, 36 months may seem like a "Substantial Sentence", but in the big scheme of Federal Sentencing, it's really not! As a matter of fact, if circumstances warrant, Trump's former mouthpiece can be back out on the street eating real food in around 18 months or less, and that's if he ever even goes in. Here are a couple of scenarios that need to be considered:

First off, the Feds could, and probably will, delay his reporting date to the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), as more and more people are potentially charged and ensnarled into the web of Trump related alleged crimes. The Feds have a "Snitch Tool" they use for inmates after sentencing called a Rule 35, more formerly codified as a Rule 35 under the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure.

While a sentence reduction for cooperation prior to sentencing is called a 5.K1 filing, its cousin the Rule 35 lets a sentenced defendant sing like a bird after they've been sentenced and allows the judge to drop their sentence even more: To maybe even to no prison time!

*Study Finds More Companies Leaving California – Urges More to Exit the State

412-588-4373 or Joe@SpectrumLocationSolutions.com

California's business climate has deteriorated to the point that a consultant who specializes in helping companies find new locations is now – for the first time in his career – openly encouraging businesses to relocate out of state.

The recommendation comes in a massive new study about companies departing California for business-friendly states. It estimates that 1,800 relocation or "disinvestment events." occurred in 2016 (the most recent year available), setting a record yearly high going back to 2008 – and that about 13,000 companies left the state during that nine-year period.

"Departures are understandable when year after year CEOs nationwide surveyed by Chief Executive Magazine have declared California the worst state in which to do business,." said Joseph Vranich, President of Spectrum Location Solutions LLC and study author.

I guess there are more foolish, dumb, frightening members of Congress than this guy. Think about that.

Lieu, the very model of a modern California Democrat, told CNN host Brianna Keilar, among other things,

"I would love to be able to regulate the content of speech. The First Amendment prevents me from doing so, and that's simply a function of the First Amendment, but I think over the long run, it's better the government does not regulate the content of speech."
