I have a friend who just doesn't get it! All he ever does is complain that he's so lonely, he's so unhappy, and he's so lost in his life. He never knows what to do about finding love and being happy. But like I said, this guy just doesn't get it!

    It's not so much that he thinks everything is about him and for his gratification, (although he does;) and it's not that his perspective and attitude are shut down to the possibilities that exist, (even though he is), it's that he won't let go of the hurt from the past that dictates every thought and every belief that he has.)

    He's so angry, that he is unavailable for the thing he wants most to enter into his life! He is so blinded by bitterness, that he can't see what's right in front of his eyes.

    Here's the thing: If you're so busy carrying around the crap from the past, you cannot possibly embrace the beauty of the future! You need to leave the old hurts behind you to pick up new opportunities to grow and to love.

    After all, this whole thing that we do, the living, the laughing, the longing, and the filler in-between, is to get love, and yes my friend, to give it, as well!

It costs nothing and it pays in dividends.

    If you haven't given some today, drop what you're doing and give or get some love. It's the first thing you should experience in the morning, and the last thing you should think about at night.
