Comedian and keynote speaker Jan McInnis has perforned in 49 of the 50 states in all sorts of venues . .. including at a gay men's resort. In her podcast this week, she shares a short story about her experience and what she learned.

"I did well because I was myself . . . but the other 2 acts tried to be one of the guys, and they didn't have such a great experience," says McInnis.

McInnis's podcast is titled "Comedian Stories: Tales From the Road in Under 5 Minutes." She kicks it off with a joke from her live clean comedy act, tells a short story, and then ends with a take-away tip of what she learned. Comedian Stories is produced every Thursday.
