I'm a subscriber to the New York Times, and every morning I receive about 30 headlines in categories I choose (arts, sports, business, politics, international, etc.). If I eliminate weather, sports, and food, about two-thirds of all remaining stories are anti-Trump in one way or another. (I still read the rentireT Sunday NYT in hard copy, and the ratio is the same.)Newspapers should have editorial positions, but not leaking over into the news and factual reporting. The Times does this shamelessly. Of course, other print and broadcast sources are also guilty of the practice, bending right or left. But the Times is supposed to be our newspaper of record. Instead, it's become simply a biased lobbying enterprise.Remember “all the news fit to print”?The entire statement is actually “all the news that we see fit to print.”
