After writing and publishing over 200 books, 50+ with traditional publishers, and writing, producing 18 feature films and documentaries, and adapting dozens of books into films for other writers and herself, author Gini Graham Scott decided to share her knowledge with a series of books and courses.  To this end, she has written two books and turned them into courses: Turn Your Book or Script into a Film and Turn Your Book into a Course.

Besides sharing this invaluable information on how to do it, the courses feature a unique approach of combining narration with photos or videos and music, so the course is like a short documentary film.  It's an approach that is especially ideal for book authors who may not be public speakers, since they can hire a narrator or use AI to turn their book into a narration.

While the books are available for purchase on Amazon, the courses offer additional perks, including some consulting and coaching and a review of some of the material the author has written, so that a course for $47 has a value of $325.  The courses are offered through Sam Cart at the following links.

Turn Your Book into a Course provides a step-by-step guide for creating a course using a voice-over narration, along with photos and video clips to illustrate what you are saying. It describes these key steps, which you can do yourself or hire professionals as needed.

  • Deciding on the chapters to be included in your course,
  • Creating an introductory overview and free preview,
  • Turning the chapters of your book into a narration script,
  • Selecting the photos or video clips to go with the narration,
  • Recording the narration yourself or hiring a narrator,
  • Selecting the music for your video,
  • Creating PDFs and JPGs of other course materials,
  • Combining the files for each lesson into a video

Then, you are ready to set up your course in a dedicated course platform or on your website and begin marketing it to enroll students.
