The Women?s Center, the nonprofit organization that has provided resources to meet life?s challenges since 1974, will hold its Spring Benefit at the home of Carole and Ed Walter in McLean, Virginia on Thursday, April 20, 2006, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Join the Center?s supporters to celebrate the season.

Kathleen Matthews, television news anchor for News 7 on WJLA-TV, the ABC affiliate in Washington, D.C., is the Honorary Guest Speaker. Since 1976, when she began her television career as a news and public affairs writer-producer, she has been awarded nine Emmys for news, documentaries and Working Woman, the nationally syndicated show she hosted for five years.

Ed Walter, the Executive Vice President and CFO of Host Marriott Corporation and his wife, Carole Walter will be hosting the Spring Benefit in their lovely home at 950 Bellview Road, McLean, VA 22102.
