I believe you can figure out good investments by looking around. I originally filled my portfolios with either stocks of my clients, whom I observed first-hand (no “insider” information) such as Merck and IBM, or products I found in widespread use and marketed very innovatively, such as Apple.
I looked around in church the other day, with a demographic from the 20s to the 80s, and found about two thirds of the attendance wearing some kind of running shoe or sneaker. The maitre ‘d at a very elegant restaurant where we dined on Easter had a tie, vest, and nice outfit—and sneakers.
I’m also thinking of creating baseball caps with a bill in the front
and the back, so the slaves to style can wear them “backwards” (which looks beyond stupid on anyone over 30) but can, therefore, also shield their eyes from the sun instead of using their hands, which could otherwise be holding a beer.
I’m just sayin’….
