You may have noticed that I’ve been a little quieter than usual. That wasn’t by accident—I purposefully hit pause.

Something came up that was too perfectly aligned to pass by. And it had a deadline: Sept. 1.

The good news? I not only hit that deadline, I finished ahead of schedule. Even all the back-end tech (which used to take me weeks to wrangle) was smooth sailing this time. That’s the difference between being on the learning curve and stepping into mastery. ??

The Pivot Lesson

Here’s what I learned: don’t be afraid to pivot when the Universe drops something aligned in your path.

Yes, it will mess up your carefully laid plans. But the tradeoff is priceless: you’ll get a surprising gift you wouldn’t have had otherwise. (“Why yes, I believe I will have an ice cream cone, thank you very much!”)

Don’t worry—the Garage is alive and well. It’s still under construction, and thanks to my new super-fast computer, the work is moving along at an accelerated pace. I can rearrange pieces as needed until it’s finished. And finished it will be—because everything on that menu is built to help.
