Like it or not, President Biden has presented a whole new challenge for Americans. Actually, many challenges. For one, he is mandating vaccinations and other stipulations which affect millions of Americans. These decrees may drastically affect various segments of our economy. These are listed on the White House website as the following:

Requiring All Employers with 100+ Employees to Ensure their Workers are vaccinated or Tested Weekly

Requiring Vaccinations for all Federal Workers and for Millions of Contractors that Do Business with the Federal Government

Requiring COVID=1- Vaccinations for Over 17 Million Health Care Workers at Medicare and Medicaid Participating Hospitals and Other Health Care Settings

Calling on Large Entertainment Venues to Require Proof of Vaccination or Testing for Entry

Requiring Employers to Provide Paid Time Off to Get Vaccinated“

His recent mandates include all of the military. If you haven’t noticed, his mandates do not include employees in the legislative and judicial branches.

“‘This is not about freedom’ is a phrase that should never come out of a U.S. President’s mouth,” Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee wrote on Twitter in response. or a fight that requires working together, a lot of cynical and divisive edicts came out of the White House today pitting the vaccinated against the unvaccinated, businesses against employees, and the federal government against states. The Constitution won’t allow this power grab, and in the meantime, I will stand up for all Tennesseans. To be clear: the vaccine is the best tool we have to combat the pandemic but heavy-handed mandates are the wrong approach.”

Whether you agree with the above Tweet by the Governor or not, it is not an untypical response by those who believe in the efficacy of the vaccine. Not everyone believes that a certain medical decision should be imposed on people without their consent.

Other GOP state leaders threatened legal action. South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem said, “@JoeBiden see you in court.” Texas AG Ken Paxton said, “I will see you in court soon!” Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody said the state would take “any and all action” in her power “to stop this unprecedented power grab.” 

Attorney generals in Kansas and Missouri were both considering lawsuits, The Kansas City Star reported. Indiana, Oklahoma, and Utah may also follow suit, local reports said.

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp said: “I will pursue every legal option available to the state of Georgia to stop this blatantly unlawful overreach by the Biden administration.”

Biden on Thursday said more than 80 million Americans were still unvaccinated, despite the doses being “free, safe, and convenient.” 

 “These pandemic politics, as I refer to, are making people sick, causing unvaccinated people to die,” he added. “We cannot allow these actions to stand in the way of protecting the large majority of Americans who have done their part and want to get back to life as normal.”

At the White House on Friday, Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked if any of the governors criticizing Biden’s plan had reached out to the president or his office. Psaki said she didn’t have any info about such calls on hand.

“We are in touch with a range of governors — Democratic and Republican — every week, if not more frequently, about a range of topics, including our efforts to address the pandemic,” she said. 

No one would suspect that Governor Ron DeSantis would remain quiet.

Union Workers represent huge blocks of employees affected by these mandates.

In addition to the legal claims that involve States Rights allocated to them by the Constitution and forbid the Federal Government from assuming their authority, there are multiple questions that challenge the assumptions of the President that will pit the vaccinated against the unvaccinated. These include the validity of the PCR tests which suggest the treatment of the novel Coronavirus and its variants as anything requiring lockdowns and massive vaccinations; the ignoring of natural immunity as a more powerful weapon against the virus than the vaccines (as evidenced by a recent lawsuit by members of the military against these mandates); the multiple deaths, disabilities, hospitalizations etc as reported by the inadequacy of theCDC voluntary system for reporting consequences of the vaccine and the claim of whistleblowers that this in now way represents the true figures (involving possible data not released by the CDC), the unknown long-term affects of a vaccine that are entirely unknown due to its experimental nature. Whether you are vaccinated or not, it is clear that these issues- and, in fact, many others do require scrutiny, made more difficult for the average citizen because of the all-encompassing censorship by social media and the government.
