Truth Brings Sanity to Mental Illness

Rev. Marilyn Redmond, BA, CHT,IBRT

"Paradigm Busters, Reveal the Real You" at Amazon is the ultimate book for mental health and other ailments. Marilyn Redmond's definitive "how to book" is "Paradigm Busters, Reveal the Real You", reveals how she achieved a consciousness of oneness in healing her traumatic life of mental illness without drugs. http://www.amazon.com/Marilyn-Redmond/e/B0069WIKDC  Marilyn also has healed domestic violence, addictions, disease and other life's' challenges with these principles of the universe.  The book took twenty-five years to write and addresses most illness with answers to heal them.

Marilyn's mother was paranoid schizophrenic and her father was an alcoholic. Her mother's mental frame of mind was her model of how to live life. She had experienced sexual abuse and plenty of abandonment issues. Eventually, Marilyn learned that she was maladjusted to life like my mother and father. Stuffing her feelings meant that she could not be hurt again. She suffered being powerless, a victim, and hopeless. Her life felt like hell.

On the surface, Marilyn looked good while behind the scenes she took extreme measures to run from facing life, as her mother modeled. She created a huge bubble of protection for safety, keeping out reality. Later, she used alcohol and prescriptions not to feel her fears. Stopping drinking and later stopping taking medications was a decision because the side effects were worse than the problems.

Fortunately, Marilyn found a psychiatrist who understood that mental illness is a choice. In explaining her mother to Marilyn, he told her that alcoholism is not a choice, but mental illness is. The withdrawal from Depakote lasted several months, but it was worth finding her sanity. Marilyn was learning healthy behaviors to replace the old reactions from fear. The medication stopped her ability to change her behavior to healthy conduct. However, it was possible to change when clean and sober. Gradually, Marilyn had enough knowledge to stop her reactions and could comeback in loving solutions when the old buttons were pushed.

Now, she substitutes love and faith for medicine. Her first real change came when she was exhausted from the long drive home from Colorado visiting family. Marilyn really needed to stay home and not push into more activities, tired or not, as she had been taught to do.

The expenses for attending the event in Virginia got higher and higher. This was a red flag to her old Bipolar Disorder behavior. Marilyn recognized an old pattern, now off the drugs. In meditation, she was told to call the class and cancel the reservation. Her head cleared immediately when she made the call. The moment Marilyn took this rational step, reality was restored. With a response that was healthy for her, clarity and sanity returned.

Later, she had an episode where her paranoia schizophrenia surfaced to leave, emotionally. Marilyn knew the old anger was ready to release. This would free her to live in the present and be current in her life.

The medications had stopped her fearful feelings from flowing out or leaving to be replaced for loving feelings. In addition, the drugs had stopped her emotional growth. Marilyn realized that she felt like a little girl inside releasing her past anger. This experience could free her from a life based in her abuse or that of her mother's. Marilyn moved into the love of the moment to enjoy life as it comes. That is reality.

Through her experiences, many insights have become understandable for restoring sanity. The book, "People of the Lie", says that the levels of mental illness are the levels of dishonesty with oneself." Marilyn vowed to be as honest with herself as she could be. This was to declare that she did not want to be insane like her mother. Her psychiatrist declared her sanity several years later, after the progress Marilyn achieved to restore her life.

It takes courage to face the darkness and turn on the light/love within your heart. Her book clearly has the steps to move into a healthy sane life without medications. http://www.amazon.com/Marilyn-Redmond/e/B0069WIKDC  Her new basis for life became the choice to live in the moment and not to react as if the past boogiemen are taking up space in her brain.

This break into reality was monumental. Nowadays Marilyn has a new honest basis for her life. John Forbes Nash, Jr., who won the Nobel Laureate in Economics, was depicted in the movie, "A Beautiful Mind". "In the end of the show, he is no longer plagued by his mental illness. His comment was, "I quit listening to the voices in my head." Marilyn also fired those voices and now listens to loving messages. "It is a victorious victory to be free from the ego's disparaging messages that kept me in mental illness."

Marilyn's pioneering and innovative work in restoring traumatic lives, healing emotional causes of illness and releasing negative energy, restores health and reality. Marilyn is a member of the International Board of Regression Therapy, American Board of Hypnotherapy, and lifetime member of Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment. She is an ordained minister for spiritual counseling and psychic readings
