Good Authoring Day to YOU …

Oh my … I’ve been baking and strategizing this past week.  Lots of authors, their friends and their amazing books setting up for my annual Author Tea today … we expect over 125 attending. Books-Books-and MORE Books for shopping delight. Will I be a bit tired when it’s all over? Yup! Will it be worth it? Oh yes.

Then tomorrow, I put my “cook” hat on again. A variety of quiches and a brunch spread for the Celebration of my latest book, When God Says NO-Revealing the YES When Adversity and Loss Are Present with dear friends in my home … along with cheering for the third edition of Mara Purl’s women’s fiction book, Why Heart’s Keep Secrets. We will both share a few passages and insights with all. Wonderful and thoughtful gifts.

Alert to all of you in Colorado … the FINAL second Saturday AuthorYOU Salons of the year is December 14. It starts at 8.30 a.m., ending at 11.30 a.m. Bring socks—I share these with the homeless … and it’s going to be chilly this winter.

I did a fun “Ask Judith” open webinar with authors in Palm Springs during the week—looking forward to meeting several of them when I speak there on December 7th and 8th.

And now I’m thinking—just how much Christmas stuff will I haul out this year? I have just five days to do it all in before I head to Palm Springs for two presentations, then to Arizona. The year is coming into a fast close. Where, oh where, has it gone.

AND “yes” … I got all the outdoor Christmas lights up by Wednesday, just before the temps dropped to a chilling 20 degrees. It’s sweats and layers of clothes time. Loved having my finger mittens where I can slip off the top to reveal my fingers to be nimble with and then cover them up quickly. Very cool for working outside.

Friday mornings are the place to be with other authors! I love the Friday coaching that happens early each Friday AM. I always have a “new tip” for the group, then it opens up to “catch up” and “asks”. Become a subscriber so you can get
