Check Your Wireless Microphone Inventory
Equipment has been sitting on a shelf for quite some time waiting on the return of meetings and events. But since July 13, 2020 wireless microphones that operate in the 600MHz band are no longer to be used per FCC guidelines, as these frequencies have been re-allocated to meet demand for wireless broadband services. Now is a good time to go through your inventory and identify any microphones that might need to be replaced. The frequency of the mics and receivers can typically be found on the receiver's display screen, a small sticker on the back or bottom of the receiver, and in the battery compartments of the transmitters.
