Leading technology companies will showcase their latest developments and applications at the upcoming 2018 National Medicare Supplement Industry Summit, the annual convention for the growing Medigap insurance industry.

"Technology is the fuel that is driving competitive advantages in the competitive Medigap industry," shares Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI).   The Los Angeles-based group organizes the annual national conference for the Medicare Supplement insurance industry taking place June 12-14, 2018 at the Marriott Grand Hotel in St. Louis, MO.

"Medicare Supplement insurance sales are growing and new insurers are entering the marketplace," Slome notes.  " That is reflected in the growth of the conference attendance and certainly technology is at the forefront today."   Over 700 industry professionals are expected to attend the event.

In addition to a technology showcase and added sessions featuring various tech industry experts, the conference consists of focused on pricing, underwriting, claims processing, marketing and sales of insurance products to seniors.  Over 13 million Americans now have a Medicare Supplement insurance policy, an increase from 9.7 million in 2010.
