The question ”Should I Stay or Should I Go?” commonly haunts people living in dead-end and high-conflict marriages.  There are no easy answers.  Sometimes people say they are staying for the kids, but often this is just a cover-up (conscious or unconscious) for some other underlying motivation.
Whatever the motivation, if you are living in relationship limbo Nancy Pina’s blog post will shed some light on “Three Ways Your Unhappy Marriage May Be Hurting Your Kids.”  Scroll down to also see the slide show of celebrities talking about their own parents’ divorces.
Finally, if you want our “Should I Stay OR Should I Go?  Questions for Reflection” send an email to elinor@AFriendlyDivorce.com.  These questions will help you reflect on your current relationship.  But, before you sit down with pad and paper and answer the questions it might be helpful to make a list of the factors that are driving you to question the future of your marriage.  And, make a list of the good things too.  In other words, what does this marriage give you that you would not have otherwise?
