On April 24th, I had the pleasure of joining a wonderful group convened by the Society for Women’s Health Research (#SWHR) and #TheFuchsiaTent to identify issues that need immediate recognition regarding menopause in the workplace.

This will be the first of three workshops across the nation, and the results will be compiled into white papers to help women and businesses improve retention, work ability, and progress. It was an amazing group, all intent on helping midlife women at work and the businesses where they work.

There were representatives from government, pharma, insurance, pharmacy, and groups working to improve the lives of women in menopause in the workplace. It was a great day. I believe the results will add a great deal to our understanding of this important workplace topic.
