I’m delighted to be speaking at
NHRMA-Northwest Human Resource Management Association’s 88th Annual Conference & Tradeshow, taking place September 9
th – 11
th in Spokane.
I’ll be presenting my newest keynote,
Recruit to Retain in the Age of AI: The Power of Human Connection on
September 10th 12:45 – 2:00! That gives us plenty of time to take action.
AI
AI is changing how we recruit, hire, and work. But when it comes to keeping people engaged and committed, technology is only part of the equation.
At this event, we’ll look at the human side of retention and how the employee experience begins long before someone’s first day on the job. I’ll share a few stories, practical ideas, and my
Human Path to Retention™ framework. And yes, there will probably be a little dancing.
My program fits neatly into this year’s theme, highlighting the role of HR leaders in
shaping the workplace of tomorrow. It emphasizes leadership development, fostering engagement, and building inclusive, resilient cultures while embracing technology and tools, including AI, where they support people and processes. The conference will explore strategies for inspiring teams, navigating change, and balancing innovation with the human-centered approach that defines effective HR leadership.
NHRMA

If you’ll be at the 2026 NHRMA Conference, I hope you’ll join me!
