ROI·DNA, part of Hotwire Global and The Enero Group, appoints Surj Gish as managing director. Gish, who was most recently SVP, global marketing at the firm, has been an integral part of ROI·DNA since its inception in 2011, playing a key role in building its digital advertising services teams and working with such brands as Virgin America, Figma, Cisco and Dropbox. In his new post, he will lead the agency, driving growth and further integrating operations with Hotwire Global, under the leadership of CEO Heather Kernahan. “Surj has been an invaluable leader within ROI·DNA, and his deep understanding of digital marketing combined with his passion for fostering a strong, inclusive culture makes him the perfect fit for this role," said Hotwire Global CEO Heather Kernahan. Panera Bread names Mark Shambura CMO. Shambura previously served as CMO at Papa Johns and MOD Pizza. Before that, he was executive director of marketing at Chipotle. He has also been a marketing agent at CAA. At Panera Bread, Shambura will lead all aspects of marketing, including brand building, digital and loyalty, product strategy and consumer insights. "Mark brings an impressive background building brands and leading marketing teams for fast-casual restaurants,” said Panera Bread CEO José Alberto Dueñas, Chief Executive Officer. "Mark's depth of experience and ability will help drive our growth."

Mod Op, a digital marketing agency, hires Patty Parobek as VP of AI and machine learning transformational change. Parobek was most recently senior director of AI adoption at Cleveland-based digital marketing agency Fathom. She was previously VP of digital & growth strategy at Tenlo, which was acquired by Mod Op in 2022. In her new post, Parobek will oversee the AI practice group and collaborate with the executive team to redefine how creative, advertising and marketing work is executed. She will also work with Mod Op's AI Council to ensure responsible development and evaluation of AI tools. Miami-based Mod Op, which also has offices in Dallas, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Portland, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Panama City, Panama, Cleveland, Calgary and Toronto, works with brands including Nestlé, Duracell and ExxonMobil.
