The Bliss Group adds Andrea Barger as GM, Texas. Barger has most recently served as VP, marketing and communications at Snagajob, a marketplace for hourly jobs and shifts. She was the founder of FlintSpark Communications, and has worked at Golin, Rogers & Cowan and GCI Health. In her new position she will be responsible for launching a Dallas office for all NPG firms and building a growing presence for The Bliss Group in Texas. . “Andrea is known for her creativity and client service expertise, as much as her passion for all things Texas,” said Bob Pearson, chair of NPG and CEO, The Bliss Group.

Daniel Clayton-Luce

Henry Repeating Arms promotes Daniel Clayton-Luce to VP of communications. Clayton-Luce previously served as director of communications at the company. In his new role, he will help formulate and implement the company’s marketing, media, and public relations strategies as well as overseeing a team dedicated to upholding its customer service reputation. Henry Repeating Arms CEO Anthony Imperato said that Clayton-Luce is “talented, a team player, and has an incredible work ethic.”

Hopcraft, Sullivan, Burridge, Walsh

Hill+Knowlton Strategies makes several senior promotions in the UK. Pippa Burridge is promoted from director of operation to COO, taking an expanded role in overseeing operations, resourcing, talent and recruitment. Eleanor Sullivan, who leads H+K UK’s innovation + creative hub and creative strategy team, will now also serve as chief strategy officer. Charlie Hopcraft has been upped to group managing director, overseeing the interaction between the agency’s technology, commerce and entertainment division. UK managing director of healthcare Jessica Walsh expands her remit to lead healthcare across H+K’s European business.

Hector Valle

Vianovo, a strategy consultancy, names Hector Valle as a partner in its Austin office. Valle comes to Vianovo from the Texas General Land Office, where he managed all government relations and communications activities and served on the executive team as a key advisor to Commissioner George P. Bush. “His extensive background and knowledge of state and federal legislative processes provides a foundation to create winning solutions for our clients,” said Vianovo managing partner Blaine Bull.
