Qventus, a provider of AI-based software that automates care operations in operating rooms and inpatient settings, brings on Jamie Eisinger Burgess as SVP of marketing. Burgess joins Qventus from digital health platform BrightInsight, where she led global marketing and strategic partnerships. She previously held executive marketing positions at Flex and Qualcomm. At Qventus, Burgess will oversee brand and product marketing, growth marketing, creative and communications. "Jamie has a rich and impressive background defining new categories and building brands," said Oventus co-founder and CEO Mudit Garg.

Development Counsellors International promotes Vanessa Gonzalez-Hernandez to director of travel trade. Gonzalez-Hernandez joined DCI in November 2021 as an account manager, rising to the role of account director in 2023. In her new post, she will lead DCI’s travel trade division as it expands beyond the United States and Canada. Gonzalez-Hernandez will also lead DCI’s efforts to expand further into the hospitality sector, providing trade representation services for hotels, tour operators and destination management companies. “Vanessa has proven time and again what it means to be a leader. She prioritizes her clients’ needs but always meets those of her colleagues too,” said DCI president of tourism Karyl Leigh Barnes.

Kowaski previously served as VP marketing at freight procurement software provider Sleek Technologies. She has also held senior marketing posts at Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas, Sears and JPMorgan Chase & Co. In her new post, Kowalski will focus on enhancing brand positioning, broadening the company’s market presence, and deepening engagement with contracting companies, independent contractors, and insurance channel partners. “Her extensive marketing expertise across trucking, healthcare, and insurance will not only enhance our ability to partner with a broader set of customers but will also strengthen our leading position as the turnkey software solution dedicated to safeguarding the vital relationship between contracting companies and independent contractors,” said Openforce CEO Wendy Greenland.
