Learning about yearend landing pages- you will be busy
What is a landing page? A website page dedicated to fundraising- making it easy, attractive, safe and understandable for a donor to give money at year-end to an important cause.
Network for Good has a program that gives nonprofit a template oriented template to begin the process.
In essence, nonprofits must reach out to new fans using technology and these pages make it pretty, easier, and effective to state your mission and ask someone to give.
Behind the scenes instead of a give now button, your gift will be processed, the page will send you a thank you/receipt, and the charity will have vital help right now.
This is really important because nonprofits are covering more and more local needs and receiving less and less infrastructure support. They are taking on services without their indirect expenses covered or because they love to serve the people or "demographic" they have taken on.
If you see a landing page this holiday season or would like a tax exempt gift to help you in April's pending taxes?
Think about finding an agency, fiscally sponsored program, or initiative that matters to you.
