Pamela D. Wilson, the caregiving expert, announces updates to The Caring Generation® FREE caregiving library. The FREE library offers proven tips and formulas to help caregivers solve caregiving problems and avoid caregiving mistakes.
The Caring Generation® is a FREE library with over 30 categories of information for family caregivers offering sections on caregiving, memory loss and Alzheimer's, family relationships, legal and estate planning, and care in the home. The library features articles, videos, podcasts, and tip sheets written by Pamela D. Wilson, the caregiving expert.
Caregivers Seek Trusted Sources of Caregiving Support
Family caregivers confirm difficulty in locating trusted sources of caregiving information online. Pamela's 20+ years of expertise as a court-appointed guardian, power of attorney, and as a care manager is rare. Her life experience with the loss of both parents, a brother, and a sister places her in a unique position of being able to empathize with caregivers experiencing loss.
Her expertise is supported by spending thousands of hours "on the ground" advocating for caregivers and older adults with hospitals, nursing homes, care communities, care agencies, and other providers. No third party advertising is allowed on the website so that the focus remains on caregiver support programs.

Updated Caregiving Library & Member's Only Subscription Access
The FREE library portion residing on the main website has been updated. The "by subscription-only" FREE library has been updated and organized making it easier for caregivers to locate articles on specific subjects. The by subscription area features more advanced subject matter and problem-solving suggestions for caregivers.
Pamela's goal is to continue to offer valuable information for caregivers seeking support through the library and programs coming soon that have been requested by caregivers. By subscription-only members will receive early access to new programs and special opportunities to receive online support.
Caregivers Experience High Levels of Stress and Anxiety
A 2017 survey from the Alzheimer's Association confirmed that the top challenges of caregivers remain: emotional stress, physical stress, managing time, financial burden, lack of disease information, feelings of isolation, being hesitant or afraid to ask for help, and lack of privacy or "me" time.
