Habitual thinking is the enemy of creative thinking. To get out of the ruts that the mind can create there is a simple technique called Questioning Assumptions. This easy to learn technique include three easy steps.
1. Decide on how you want to frame your creative challenge.
2. Generate 20 to 30 assumptions you might be making – true or false – about that creative challenge.
3. Pick several of those assumptions, and use them as thought starters/creative
triggers to create new ideas.
