One of the best times for revolutionary elements within a society to make gains is when chaos, confusion and fear reign supreme. Witness the destabilizing influences now forcing business and political leaders to bend to their revolutionary will power or face oblivion. Dr. Michael Brown, author of Evangelicals at the Crossroads: Will We Pass the Trump Test? and founder and president of AskDrBrown Ministries, is fighting the good fight as shape-shifting political groups move the goal posts day by day and minute by minute. A startling characteristic of revolutionary tactics being employed is the ability of hard left groups to shape-shift in response to events, never holding a steady position in order to out fox the enemy. Dr. Brown's recent article about the Cancel Culture outlined five ways, in effect, to "cancel out the cancel culture." The so-called Cancel Culture is now targeting well known liberals for not being sufficiently radical. Mark Zuckerberg is the perfect case study; in short order he has morphed from ally to enemy of the cause and the more he surrenders the more they will push. However, the CEO of the major companies which advertise on Facebook had to cave in first in order for the continuous pressure to roll downhill to Zuckerberg, thus creating a snowball effect which sweeps up everyone and everything in the maelstrom.
After going thru a couple of tactics for fighting back, Dr. Brown concluded, "We need to expose this reality, demonstrating how the cancel culture will ultimately cancel itself out. It must, since it will never be sufficiently woke. To illustrate this point, on June 21, I tweeted, 'In the spirit of pulling down historic statues and removing 'racist' brand names, should there be a move to cancel the Democratic Party, since the Democrats were the party of slavery, segregation, and Jim Crow?' I even wrote an article as to why Charles Darwin should be cancelled because of his racist theories. Where does it end? Who will be left standing?"
Ripping down people, societies and institutions is easy, building them into something worthwhile on a continuous path of improvement is difficult and painful.
