Moving into the Realm of Spirit

By Marilyn Redmond

My parents were dysfunctional and I never felt a part of the family. Growing up for me was difficult. However, when I visited with my aunt and uncle, I felt accepted, loved, and safe. I would stay with them occasionally and loved being there. I could play with my cousin and he had toys, I did not have. His back yard had a stream flowing through with geese. My aunt even taught us both to do crochet and embroidery. We had a great time. Playing her player piano was the highlight of my visits.

When she committed suicide, I was devastated. My church preached against this. I was disturbed that she had gone to hell. She treated me so nicely and I did not think she should be destined for that. The only person, who loved me, was gone. Was she in a tormenting place? That was not right, I felt.

After my aunt committed suicide, I was distraught because she was the only person in my family that treated me nicely. I could not handle the religious idea of her plight. She was a nice person to me and I was valued. This weighed heavily on me. My church was strict about only listening to the minister for information. I did not know about mediumship and talking to those past over.

A couple years later, as I was sitting on the couch in my living room with no one else was around, I saw my uncle in a vision. I recognized him immediately with his broad smile. He said that Aunt Marjorie wanted to see me. He was to lead me to her. She now looked different, as her appearance now had changed. I would not have identified her as younger person and with her natural brown hair, rather than the grey hair in her older years. My uncle led me into a house attached to a church. There she was standing in an entryway, decorated as if she did the designing. She was very artistic and always had wonderful arty flower and other arrangements in her home. I recognized her energy immediately.

She wanted me to put my concerns to rest. She told me there is no hell. She added that hell is a state of mind and not a place. I did not have to worry about her anymore. However, since she left early without completing all the script for her lifetime, she would have to return and do that life again. She told me that if she had known that, she would not have left to join my uncle. He was encouraging her to join him on the other side. He died from cancer, two years earlier.

My cousin, her son, now married lived quite a distance from her and wanted to be able to help her if necessary. He moved her closer to him. However, her friends were in her old neighborhood. This left her without companions and her ceramic classes that she enjoyed. She felt removed from her familiar neighborhood and lonely. My cousin had adopted a foreign child. This upset her, too. The night before, my aunt called for my sister to pick up our mother's dog that she was dog sitting. That was the last contact except for a note she left in the dog food bag.

I did not think much about this vision for some time until I flew to a class in Virginia for past life therapy training. The fifty people in the room were all spiritual healers. The energy in the room was high. I saw the room filled with angels and people standing next to the participants in class. During one break, I asked a woman, who was standing next to her and described the person. She exclaimed, "That's my mother!" Running back into the classroom her shouting to everyone that I saw her mother and gave her a message stunned me. It was not that big an event, I thought.

That began other class members wanting to speak with their loved ones. A woman participant wanted to hear from her father who passed over for information about the death experience. She was going into Hospice work and thought it would be helpful. He told her that if you think you are seeing relatives or angels to escort you to the other side, they really are there to help you.

A retired minister wanted to speak to his friend on the other side and not his father. His friend had been standing by him throughout the class. After the chat, his father appeared wearing black with a black blanket over his head. "I do not want to speak to my son, either," he told me. The son had already said angrily that he did not want to chat with his dad. At that time, I felt their conversation passing through me. However, I could not discern the contents of their talk.

I saw the father pulling off the blanket and his son becoming happy. They discovered that there was a miscommunication between them and it was resolved. The next day the minister was so thrilled that he ran down the hall of the motel to greet his wife to tell her all about it.

My third experience was at Easter Island, which convinced me that I was a medium. On my trip with the Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment, we had a woman shaman showing us spiritual sites on the island. I recognized a particular site from one of my past lives. I had been inside that cave in the knoll. In front of the mounds was a circle of rocks of twelve flat black rocks and one in the middle. The shaman had each of the members of our trip sit on a rock and told me to go to the center and give readings to each person. The energy was so high that the vibrations came through clearly and strongly for each person to receive a message.

Since then I have channeled the voices of Archangel Michael, St. Germaine, Jesus, Mother Mary and St. John, The Divine of the Bible, and people passed over. St. John brings healing information to those who attend my healing sessions or counseling. Archangel Ariel brings blessings for everyone, during a session. My first gatekeeper was my father appearing as an Indian from another life.

As I, spiritually grew, Martha, the sister of Lazarus, from the Bible replaced him, as my gatekeeper as I was now in a higher vibration. She stops any negative entities from coming through. People love her cheery voice and toodle-lou as she comes in and leaves. Over time, I participated in several classes and sittings for mediumship that brought more confidence. Many of my channelings are on You Tube. One with Jesus and Archangel Ariel is
