About The Exhibit
WMG is pleased to present its Small Works Members' Show, an exhibition juried by WMG co-founders and board members Kelly Hensen and Beate Minkovski.
"I'm delighted to have one of my pieces accepted into the Small Works Members' Show," said Nordhaus-Bike. "I've belonged to Woman Made for many years, and this gallery matters so much to me because it's always helped me grow artistically."
A treasure trove for collectors, art lovers, and gift givers, the exhibition includes almost two hundred works by 91 current WMG artist members.
On view are two- and three-dimensional pieces in a variety of media including mixed media, painting, collage, printmaking, sculpture, ceramic, and photography. Works have a size limitation of 13 inches, and prices range from $25 to $250.
Mixed Media Art Piece - Red Coat Remembered
Anne Nordhaus-Bike is a longtime WMG gallery member. Her mixed media art piece, Red Coat Remembered, will be displayed at the Small Works Members' Show.
"I was thinking about a favorite red coat from years ago and how much I still missed it after giving it away so many, many years ago," explained Nordhaus-Bike. "I wanted to capture that memory and feeling in an artwork."
