Mahaffey Tent and Party Rentals provided a 30' x 325' red carpet tent for the 45th Annual CMA Awards, which took place on November 9, 2011 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.
This was the tenth year for Mahaffey to provide the red carpet tent for the awards show. Other tents were also installed for the star-studded event, including a 10' x 300' VIP walkway, a small tent to cover the Macy's VIP area, a Chevy tent, temporary CMA store tent, and a variety of other connector and walkway tents around the arena.
Mahaffey joined with Media Source, a Memphis-based video production company, to have a camera crew document the complete installation process. The end result was a spectacular time-lapse video, illustrating what goes on behind-the scenes when a temporary fabric structure goes up. The video has been uploaded to Mahaffey's YouTube channel:
