Like a vine of culture that unites our city and neighborhoods, The Celtic Arts Center (CAC) is grieving with Theatre West over the loss of its multi-talented director, Linda Rand.

Honoring her directoral contribution in the center's return of theater in its  Mayflower Club clubhouse last Fall 2018 in a mounting of The Faith Healer.

The work by Brian Friel became a well attended NOHO production mounted over the summer at roughly the same time as another, Northern Ireland presentation at the Ennis Skillen Beckett Festival.  It marked a historic return to the boards and through Linda's generosity the CAC and the participating artists have been forever enriched.

Linda has left a legacy of embracing the world through works of art.  From acting, to production, from art to music, this polymath rejoiced in her ability to flex her craft(s).  You are gone, but never forgotten.  A light in the world.  In memory of your many gifts and contributions.
