We are living in a temporary world right now. Whether it is the “new normal” or awaiting the return of old traditions, the apple cart has been upset by COVID and politics and, and, and….

The caution is this.

Because COVID is a temporary problem, it is important that the solution fits the problem. With it being a temporary problem, the solution may best be a temporary solution. In times like these, the caution is that we risk coming up with solutions that may end up being permanent when only a temporary fix is warranted.

More simply said, “Don’t provide a permanent solution to a temporary problem.”
