It’s been about ten years I’ve partnered with the HR Florida organization and a part of their annual conference and expo. This began when I was invited to be the opening keynote speaker for the HR Conference. Since then, consistently, it’s been one of the most impressive conferences I’ve ever attended that is run by ALL Volunteers. (Yes, you read that right). Fast forward years into the event and grateful to be a member of the team and help produce the general sessions as the returning Conference Emcee.

(Note: I’m not down-playing ANY other of the state SHRM conferences that I’ve been a part of as the keynote speaker. Which, I’ve probably been the opening or closing keynote for probably 20 different state conferences for HR. However, the method in which HR FL runs their event, committees, council and overall business strategy is second-to-none.)

Through this SHRM state Council organization, I’m grateful to have met many other people and chapters. It’s always a blessing when I have the opportunity to share with the individual chapter conferences as well. In fact, this year I will be joining three of chapter HR Conferences as the keynote speaker. In a few weeks, I get to join the Ocala Human Resources Management Association for their 2nd annual conference in March. This one conference I’m also acting the keynote speaker for HR conference as well as the conference emcee. I love this opportunity to bring the engagement, continuity of theme and excitement throughout the conference.

Thanks OHRMA for the opportunity and looking forward to meeting many HR Professionals as your Keynote Speaker for the HR Conference.

Here is the local paper write up on the event and how you can join us:

Disclaimer: I do like to write, but I am forgoing the anxiety of having editors proofreaders and more review simple blog posts or event updates. There could be errors, omissions or even mis-spellings. I’ve still working on my challenge of sharing thoughts or ideas that are not perfected. This is my attempt to overcome that. I wanted to free flow type without the stress. Hope you understand and enjoy.

~

Jon
