Gail Rubin, A Good GoodbyeOn Thursday, June 19, death care professionals and death-positive folks are invited to join the quarterly online Zoom meeting of Death over Drafts. It’s hosted by Stefanie Elkins, Death over Drafts Founder as well as Family Caregiver Consultant and EOL Doula with Be Present Care, along with Lisa Pahl, LCSW, The Death Deck. They are buzzed to offer quarterly Death over Drafts via Zoom in addition to events in physical locations.

The special guest for this meeting is Gail Rubin, Certified Thanatologist, pioneering death and grief educator, and The Doyenne of Death®. During this Death over Drafts event, the discussion will explore topics of being, doing, and feeling as death care professionals.

Death over Drafts are community gatherings where end-of-life conversations are being “tapped” at breweries nationwide and in Canada. These events are hosted by Crafters aka Hosts who welcome those curious and serve in the end-of-life space to connect, reflect, share, and have fun. Death over Drafts Happy Hour started with a brewing vision to bring people together and create meaningful connections by combining two passions—craft beer and conversations on end-of-life. Please bring your beverage of choice to this online Death over Drafts Zoom meeting!

Gail Rubin, CT, is author of the award-winning books A Good Goodbye: Funeral Planning for Those Who Don’t Plan to Die, Kicking the Bucket List: 100 Downsizing and Organizing Things to Do Before You Die, and Hail and Farewell: Cremation Ceremonies, Templates and Tips.
