It’s a conundrum.  More and more, I’m able to:

— Get clear really fast (like super clear, super fast)
— Receive PERFECT insights and visions about what to do, and how to do it
— Think and move superfast
— Bring projects to really beautiful completion, some after having to wait months (or in a couple of cases, YEARS) to reach this point.

All of this feels exhilarating and yummy.

BUT!  Here’s the other side of this coin.

I’m often being forced to wait,  Right at the last minute.  Or at a critical point in the project.

Hurry Up And Wait

This kind of energy feels very. . . disruptive.

That’s because it IS disruptive.  And right on time.

Let me take a step back here and give a shout out to some of my cool astrologer friends (Lissa Boles, Sky Priestess, and Caroline Casey, I’m talking ’bout YOU!)

Thanks to some amazing insights from my astro-friends, I have some perspective about the cosmic energies we’re going through, and I am actually learning to surf them like a ninja.

Here’s how I’m generally handling the energies of “hurry-up-and-wait” — which is how I’m choosing to frame it.  For now.

Once I discover that the project I’m working on has to be put on pause, I take a moment to process my temporary feelings of frustration, and acknowledge them for what they are:  expectations about an outcome.  It’s just a process, and if I am truly to be in flow, I MUST go with what’s flowing at the PACE it’s happening.

That’s the critical adjustment, to acknowledge that the pace is not 100% controlled by me, no matter how much I wish it could be.

The flow of energies right now ARE disruptive.  They need to be, because we’re in a planetary RE-SET mode.  We’re in a time of personal and planetary transformation– BIG TIME!

The stars are aligning for revolutionary new ways to live and work, and in order to establish new systems that actually work and are durable and useful for us, we first have to scramble down and dismantle ALL the mechanisms and structures that weren’t working very well, or not working for everyone.

That’s what the disruption is about, and I’m all for that — even though the price I pay for it is having to wait while it works its magic.

So what does that mean in practical terms?

First thing it means is surrender.  Acceptance of what is.

If I’ve learned anything in all these decades I’ve been alive, it’s that trying to force things to work when the energies do not support if is just plain wasteful. It doesn’t work.

If I want to succeed (and I do, I do. . . ) then i have to go with the flow of what’s happening, and not fight against it, not invest energy into trying to make it something else just because I don’t like what’s happening.

These  can be hard lessons to learn, and I admit at first it wasn’t easy for me.  After all, I want what I want and so there!

But I did learn.  And out of that came a beautiful rhythm and natural flow that actually works.

I now simply accept what’s happening, and turn to what I can do while I wait for whatever it is to work itself out — taking what steps it’s possible for me to take, and then not fussing about it one second more.

I turn my attention to what I CAN do or accomplish (since the thing I wanted to do is — I have to often remind myself — temporarily on hold.)

That way, I get stuff done, and by switching gears I’m able to accomplish a great deal, often in layers.

This new energy is, dare I say, quite stimulating for my imagination.  It helps me get into a high creative gear, beyond anything I’ve yet experienced, and for this I am truly grateful.

I can’t (yet) say why that might be, I just know it’s true and thought it worth mentioning, since I’m being all transparent and such.

This hurry-up-and-wait will go on until it changes, and I’m not yet totally clear about when that will be.  (Guess I should ask my astrologer friends next time we chat.  If I get any intel on that I’ll share it.)
