The website LetterOfHardship.net has added new hardship letter templates, some of which are especially helpful during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"LetterOfHardship.net is one of several letter template sites in the FreePrintable.net family of sites," said Kevin Savetz, the sites' creator. "I've added sample letters that will help people find the right words to request assistance or accommodations regarding mortgages, debts, health issues and other tough situations."
With the new additions, there are now 285 templates at the site, including letters appropriate for financial, medical, academic and legal matters.
The new templates at LetterOfHardship.net address issues such as: payment plans, personal loan deferrals, credit card and automobile loan payment flexibility requests and bank fee waivers.
There are also letters designed for seeking loan forgiveness or forbearance due to illness or the death of a family member, as well as letters specifically addressing mortgage issues during the pandemic, such as payment deferral and forbearance requests. The letters for renters are intended to request payment or lease accommodations due to job loss or a sudden household move.
The just-added academic letters cover: student loan deferrals, financial aid adjustment requests and appeals, late work and assistance from social programs and charities. There are also templates for requesting a court appearance postponement and a request to work remotely.
Everything at LetterOfHardship.net is free for personal use and downloads instantly in DOC (Microsoft Word) format.
"Just pick a template that's close to your situation and use it a starting point," Savetz advised. "LetterOfHardship.net also has articles with tips on how to write a hardship letter. However, these templates are no substitute for legal advice."
FreePrintable.net also offers apology letters at ApologyLetters.net, resignation letters at ResignationLetters.biz, cover letters at CoverLetterExamples.net, complaint letters at ComplaintLetter.net, and recommendation letters at LettersOfRecommendation.net.
There are more than 100 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
