Nikki Haley bails on supporters. Her disappointing decision to vote for Donald Trump is a slap in the face to the thousands of voters who backed her in the Republican primary.

It’s also a prime example of why people are disgusted with politics.

Haley, 52, ran a spirited though quixotic campaign against the former president. She regularly drew the support of 15 percent to 20 percent of GOP primary voters.

She spoke the truth in calling Trump “totally unhinged,” not qualified to be president” and simply too old for the job.

The former United Nations ambassador criticized Trump as “weak in the knees” on Ukraine.

In her maiden speech to the Hudson Institute on May 22, Haley said supporting Ukraine “is an investment in the world in which authoritarian dictators cannot run roughshod over free countries.”

Trump, in contrast, is a fanboy of authoritarian dictators like Russia’s Vladimir Putin.

Haley told Hudson Institute: "We should end the war in Ukraine, but that doesn’t mean appeasing Putin. It means sending Ukraine enough missiles, tanks and fighter jets to send Putin packing. We don’t need a forever war. We need a fast war, and we need Ukraine to win this war now.”

Trump has indeed ruled out a forever war. He has promised to end the war very quickly. He will appease his pal Vlad, and force Ukraine to cede its territory that is occupied by Russian soldiers.

Haley said she would support a president “who’s going to have the backs of our allies and hold our enemies to account.”

That sounds like Joe Biden.

Haley tossed her morals overboard in a bit of political expediency. She sold her soul to Trump and will grovel for a shot as being his running mate.

FARA calling for Drone Alliance… Rep. John Moolenaar (R-MI), who chairs the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, wants the Justice Dept to investigate the Drone Advocacy Alliance.

The Alliance is bankrolled by DJI Innovation Technology, a drone company controlled by China’s government.

The Congressman believes China is using the Alliance as a cover.

DJI sponsors and uses the Drone Advocacy Alliance to market its drones as critical lifesaving tools that do not pose risks to US national security, according to Moolenaar.

“However, the opposite is the case. DJI is directly facilitating genocidal crimes, arming the Chinese military, and advancing the strategic objectives of the Chinese Communist party,” wrote Moolenaar in a May 21 letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland.

The Congressman believes the Alliance is mounting a disinformation and propaganda campaign that targets Americans, and should be required to register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

We hope Garland gets Moolenaar’s message.

‘Vibecession’ has got Joe down. Despite robust economic news and cooling inflation, 56 percent of Americans believe the US is suffering a recession, according to a Harris poll.

It’s more of a vibecession. Economics writer Kyla Scanlon came up with that term to describe widespread pessimism about the economy when the statistics tell otherwise.

Team Biden has got its work cut out and time is running out. A vibecession can ruin Biden’s re-election bid as effectively as an actual recession.
